eGifter is a new social gift giving service from GroupGifting.com that allows you to send your friends and family free and paid gift cards via Facebook. Other friends can then join in on the fun and add funds to the gift card and the recipient gets an even bigger gift!  It is great service for any occasion, i.e. birthdays, communions, baby showers etc. Free cards are offered by GroupGifting.com based on a limited supply each day.

To Claim your eGift Cards follow the instructions below:

1. Go to www.eGifter.com
2. Login with your Facebook account
3. Click on the "My Wallet" link at the top of the page.
4. When you are in your wallet you will see your eGift Card(s).
5. Click on the eGift Card you want to Claim and follow the instructions to see the code. You will also receive an email with the code after you view it.

First visit www.eGifter.com and sign in with your Facebook account or use our Android and iPhone mobile apps. Once you are logged in, all of your friends with upcoming birthdays will be displayed. If you want to send a gift for any other occasion, use the "Friends & Family" page. Click on a friend that you would like to send a gift and you will be presented with all available gift cards for that friend. When available, free gift cards will be presented as well for you to send your friend. Next, select the gift card you want, set the contribution amount (or give a free card when available) and add a personal message. To finalize the gift, just provide payment information (if you're purchasing a card or contributing additional funds to a free gift card) and the gift will be delivered to your friend’s Facebook wall and optionally via email. If they are already using eGifter App, they will be notified via the App.

When one of your friends sends a gift card to a mutual friend, you will be notified on your Facebook news feed or in the eGifter App. If you have the eGifter App you will be notified when a mutual friend sends a gift. If you do not have the App you will be notified when the gift is posted to your friend's Facebook wall. You can then contribute funds to the gift card at any time until the gift is closed (currently within seven (7) days of the gift creation). This is great for those belated birthday wishes. If you choose to contribute to an existing gift, login to the eGifter App, click the existing gift to see the gift details, including everyone who is contributing and their respective messages. To join the gift you simply press the 'Contribute' button, write your personal message, set the amount of your contribution, and enter provide your payment information. Your friend will be notified of your gift and contribution through Facebook, the eGifter App, and optionally via email.

All your friends who use the eGifter App will get the opportunity to contribute. If your gift is posted on your friend's Facebook wall, all his or her Facebook friends will also be able to contribute to your gift for up to seven (7) days after the gift is posted.

The gift receiver and their friends will only see the total amount of the gift card, even when more than one friend has contributed. However, if the gift card has already been delivered, the recipient would be aware of the addition to the original gift's value.

You you can contribute to a gift anytime, up to seven (7) days after the delivery date if you have the eGifter App, making it perfect for sending belated birthday wishes, for example.

eGifter has no defined limit on how many people can contribute. However, each retailer has a limit on the maximum card value for a specific gift card.

First check to see if your card is still available.  Free cards must be retrieved by the recipient within 60 days or they will no longer be available. If this is not the case you can contact our customer support 24/7/365 at 1-855-231-5766 or send an email to support@groupgifting.com and we will research the problem and get back to you within 24 hours.

Gift cards that are purchased generally have no expiration date unless stated in the specific terms for a given gift card. However, promotional cards that have no additional value added need to be retrieved by the recipient within a pre-specified time period, defined in the individual card terms, or they will no longer be available. 

Each day there are a limited amount of free cards available. Just come to the site every day and view available offers for your friends.

As per our Terms of Service, we only allow one Facebook account per customer.  We have algorithms that are designed to detect invalid, inactive or suspect Facebook accounts and these accounts are not eligible to receive free or discounted eGift Cards. Many factors go into determining if an account is eligible, such as the number of friends and many other factors that are common in suspect accounts.  If when you log in to retrieve your gift we determine that your account is ineligible, you will be denied access to the gift.  If you believe this decision was made in error, please contact our customer support team to request a manual account review to confirm that your account is valid and eligible.

Many factors go into determining if an account is eligible, such as the number of friends and many other factors that are common in suspect accounts.  If when the recipient logs in to retrieve their gift and we determine that they are ineligible, they are told they are not eligible and will be denied access to the gift.  Each time you attempt to send cards to ineligible accounts we mark your account with this activity and you become eligible for less free cards.  If you continue engaging in activity that appears to violate our Terms of Service you will not be eligible to give or receive any free cards from your account.  If you repeatedly attempt to give free cards to accounts that are not eligible, our system assumes you are just sending these to Facebook accounts setup for the purpose of taking more than your fair share of free eGift Cards.  If you believe this decision was made in error, please contact our customer support team to request a manual account review to confirm that your account is valid and eligible.
